A Morgan City Christmas
This isn't your usual Santa-and-reindeer display. This is Santa Claus Cajun style with a high-tech, festive design. During the Christmas holiday, hundreds gather to watch the lighting of the Spirit of Morgan City shrimp boat docked in the median on Brashear Avenue. At the helm of the boat is a jolly ol' Santa, his elves, and rein-gators all handcrafted by Emmy-award-winning artist and Morgan City native Lee Romaire.
