Before applying for utilities, follow the checklist below:
Required to Apply:
1. Rent/Lease Agreement or Mortgage Documentation
2. Driver’s License
3. Security Deposit*:
$100 gas
$100 electric
$25 water
*Based on the landowner's discretion, some customers may not be responsible to pay the full security deposit. Some landlords may pay portions of the utilities.
Process to disconnect utilities
To disconnect utilities, download a form or receive one in person. It is also required to supply a valid ID to verify residency. If sending a representative on behalf of the resident, you must have his or her ID in addition to a copy of the resident's ID including a written statement granting permission to disconnect utilities from the residence.
