Danny and Lexy Thompson

A couple that walks together, stays together. Every other afternoon, you'll see this lovely couple, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, taking a brisk stroll around Lawrence Park, one of their favorite places to frequent because it offers a little something for them and their three children ages 5, 9 and 11. According to Mom Lexy, the kids love the playground equipment. It keeps them busy while she and her husband get in afternoon exercise time together.

The Thompsons have called Morgan City home for the past three years since relocating for a career in the oilfield industry. The family moved from Simmesport and Bogalusa in 2019.

In addition to loving the park amenities, the Thompsons fell in love with the Morgan City community quickly making family amongst their neighbors, "I like the small town, quiet feel of Morgan City. My neighbors are very supportive of me and my husband. When we're not home, I can count on them to watch my kids."
