Autisum Awareness 5K Family Fun Day

Our Autism Awareness 5k is an annual family-oriented fundraiser to support people with autism and their families while improving autism awareness. All funds raised from this event stay in our community (St. Mary, Assumption, Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes) and support Autism Society Bayou’s programs and resources. These includes:

• Mini-grants for teachers and professionals who work with students with autism
• Local conferences/workshops/training on autism topics
• Scholarship program for individuals with autism wanting to further their education
• Family-friendly events (i.e. art camp)
• Autism related resources
